Morning & Luncheon Programs

Morning Session (11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)
“How Long Term Care Planning Serves to Facilitate Philanthropic Giving"

Concerns relating to the need for some level of long-term care, as well as to the ability to pay for that care, often arise during philanthropic planning conversations with our senior donors and clients. By becoming knowledgeable in the realities of aging and the costs of care, we will be better able to direct our donors and clients to the planning solutions available to them. In doing so, we help our donors and clients to achieve their philanthropic goals as well.

Luncheon Program (12:30 – 2:00 p.m.)
“Engaging Your Board in Planned Giving"

Most development staff members would like to see more participation from their Boards when it comes to raising funds. How is this involvement best accomplished? Come learn more about ways to set expectations, provide necessary tools and training, find appropriate levels of participation, and celebrate successes when engaging your Board in planned giving.
