Luncheon & Meeting
Morning Session (11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)
“Accountability: It’s Not Just For Major Gift Programs Anymore”
Two of the most common issues with running a successful planned giving program are (1) how to integrate planned giving into a fundraising campaign, and (2) how to quantify the program in terms that development directors and boards of trustees can understand and appreciate. In this session, we will explore how several very different non-profits handle these two issues. You will walk away with a step by step approach so you too can conquer these issues and demonstrate that your program is accountable too.
Luncheon Program (12:30 – 2:00 p.m.)
“Proving the Value of a Gift Planning Program to Your Organization”
According to Warren Buffet, “Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.” How can gift planners convince their organizations that the price of allocating resources to planned giving efforts today will result in tremendous value for the organization tomorrow? Using data compiled from over two decades of planned giving results, this session will show how gift planning campaigns 1) can produce immediate results and 2) can be tracked for long-term success. Whether your organization’s gift planning program is just getting underway or has been in place for years, this session will equip you with the specific tools you need to demonstrate that a gift planning program is a must for every organization.
